Salamanca Police Investigating Death

Police in Salamanca are investigating a death. Police say a body was discovered in Salamanca Friday morning.
Salamanca Police Chief Troy Westfall hasn’t released many details about the body, the age or sex of the victim or cause of death.

a Wiccan professor is suing St. Bonaventure University alleging that she was discriminated against.
Dr. Pauline Hoffmann says she was passed up for promotion and forced to resign as dean because of her religious beliefs.
Hoffmann is the former dean of St. Bonaventure’s School of Communication and a professor at the school.
She filed her lawsuit against the university in U.S. District Court in Buffalo. She’s looking for repayment of lost wages and an unspecified amount in damages. The lawsuit states the university’s action caused Hoffmann loss of income, fear, anxiety, severe humiliation, shame, embarrassment, emotional pain and suffering, loss of savings and loss of enjoyment of life.
