Little Valley Rallies to Help Family After Barn Fire

A little valley couple that spent their lives helping others is getting that help returned to them after a devestating fire. Last month a fire destroyed the Ritchie family barn. It’s where they stored the produce, tools and equipment for the Community Supported Agriculture program they ran. they lost 6 of tehir 7 tractors, most of the tools and 80% of their winter storage crop .Now a gofundme page set up to help the couple rebuild has raised over $12,000 in just a couple of days. The goal is a lot higher, they estimate it’ll take $150, to replace what they lost.
Cattaraugus County and 10 other counties will build a 30-bed secure detention facility in Bath for 16 and 17-year-old suspects who’ve been arrested and are awaiting trial. The group plans to buy the property for the $17 million facility from Steuben County.
