Cattaraugus County TV ads Paying Off

All of those Cattaraugus County tourism tv ads are starting to pay off.
A locally made ad about Cattaraugus County has been airing on WGRZ-TV in Buffalo on the news, soap operas and even the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Jacquie Gardner, a tourism specialist with the Cattaraugus County Department of Economic Development, Planning and Tourism says she’s getting a lot of telephone calls because of the ad.
The summer ad will be replacedc by the fall add in a few weeks.
A Kane woman has admitted that she stole more than $24 thousand dollars. Thirty three year old Hillary Payne pleaded guilty in McKean County Court to one charge of forgery. District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer said that between October 1, 2015, and October 30, 2017, Payne forged cash advances for $24,219.51 on a line of credit in the name of her husband at Hamlin Bank.
