Royce Chapman Killer Sentenced

One of two people charged with murdering Royce Chapman was sentenced to prison for manslaughter and the other was allowed to go free. Chapman’s ex-girlfriend, 52 year old Lana Joseph pleaded guilty to tampering with physical evidence and was released on time served. Joseph’s son, Richard D. Mosher III, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and was sentenced to 20 years in prison and five years of post-release supervision. Mosher admitted that he shot Chapman in the chest with a shotgun last year.

Jamestown Community College nursing school is getting $90,000 to get training equipment and supplies.
It’s the only Registered Nursing program in Chautauqua and Cattaraugus county.
So JCC says because of the outdated training equipment students weren’t exposed to the most modern equipment used in healthcare today. But the grant allows JCC nursing graduates to meet the local workforce demands for highly skilled nurses.
