Allegany-Limestone Superintendent Search Continues

The Allegany-Limestone school board isn’t saying much about their superintendent search
But candidates may be interviewed next week
At Tuesday’s meeting board President Joe Zimmer said they’re in the final stages of the search and they’ll hopefully have an announcement soon,. The board had initially stated it expected to have a candidate selected by the end of January. Dr. Karen Geelan left the district last year to take a job with Valhalla Union Free School District.

A Buffalo man convicted of drinking and driving and selling drugs in 2016 will spend a couple of years in prison. 48 year old Ronald Kuh-a-neck pleaded guilty in June. Police say that Kuhaneck had a blood alcohol content of 0.11 percent when they pulled him over in July 2016. then he sold drugs a couple of weeks later. Police say they arrested again for drinking and driving about 90 days later.
