Stidd Homicide Trial Continues

Testimony in the Stephen Stidd homicide trial begins again toay at 9 a.m. The Bradford business man admits to shooting his son-in-law to death in January 2015, but Stidd says it was in self defense.
Stidd’s been in jail since his arrest in April 2017. Charges were dropped once before, but then refiled.
The trial has been going on since last Monday and prosecutors expect to wrap up the case tomorrow.
Olean police’ve made one arrest in connection with a series of car burglaries, but they say there’s another suspect in the case and they want to talk to him. The first suspect is 19, but police didn’t release his identity because the investigation is still active. He’s been charged with criminal possession.
Police say four unlocked vehicles were burglarized at three different homes at Queen, Prince and Brook streets. A home security camera at the Queen Street caught the suspects on tape.
