7 More Cattaraugus County COVID-19 Cases

Seven more cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Cattaraugus County. There have now been five hundred and sixty five cases in the county since March. Three of the seven new cases say they came down with symptoms after being in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19. of the four others, three have been experiencing symptoms, one man who tested positive after part of a screening process is asymptomatic. The county health department has begun a thorough contact tracing investigation for everyone of these positive cases

Cattaraugus county will help fund the Olean Airport runway rehabilitation design.
County lawmakers will contract with the City of Olean for $17,659 for capital improvements for Runway 4-22.

The Olean Common Council has OKed a nighttime noise ordinance
Under the revision, excessive noise would be banned between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. daily. It includes noises for motor vehicles, power equipment, animals and other sources.
