One New COVID-19 Case in Cattaraugus County

There was one new case of COVID-19 reported Monday by the Cattaraugus County Health Department. That brings the total to 120.
The latest case is a woman who lives in the northwest part of the county who was tested for COVID-19 as part of a pre-operative requirement prior to a surgery. She was asymptomatic and says she hasn’t been in contact with anyone who has covid.
That drowning over the weekend in the Allegheny River was a 62-year-old Salamanca man who was kayaking.
The man’s body was recovered from the river off of Front Avenue near Iroquois Drive at about 7:30 Sunday night.
Police have not confirmed his identity.
Seneca Casinos have postponed all live shows through October. There hasn’t been any live entertainment at the casinos since March, becuase of the coronavirus. tickets for rescheduled shows will still be honored for rescheduled dates
