New York Orders Businesses to Close

Bars and restaurants are closed except for takeout-only and businesses from movie theaters to gyms are shuttered throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut because of the coronavirus.
The governors said supermarkets and gas stations will be able to stay open after 8 p.m. Monday, though all non-essential businesses must close. Illinois, Ohio, Massachusetts and Washington state also are among places that have ordered bars to close and restaurants to stop dine-in service.
Olean officials are shutting down recreation facilities because of the coronavirus.
John J. Ash Community Center, the St. John’s youth recreation program, the William O. Smith Recreation Center and the Bartlett House Historical Center and Olean Point Museum are all locked down.
City hall will remain open for business.
there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 in Cattaraugus County, and Olean’s mayor said he is staying in daily contact with county and state officials over the spread of the disease.
