Seneca Nation Restricts Employees Travel

The Seneca Nation has issued a travel restriction for all Nation officials and employees in response to the coronavirus outbreak. Nation officials and employees are restricted to travel within the eight counties of Western New York until further notice.
While there have not been any confirmed COVID-19 in Western New York to date, Monroe County announced its first confirmed case Wednesday night.
The Olean Common Council has approved money to level 2 more dilapidated houses
The Council approved $24,000 from the city’s contingency fund to tear down the structures at 1013 Washington St. and 303 E. Elm St.
The council gave the city the go-ahead to acquire the properties over the summer, and authorized the mayor to bid out the demolition of the structure in August. The other property OK’d by the council for purchase last summer, 405 S. Fourth St., has been demolished to make way for a proposed larger parking lot .
