Allegany County Looking For New Adminstrator

The Allegany County Board of Legislators is looking for a new administrator.
The board accepted the resignation of Deborah McDonnell.
Former administrator Tim Boyde and County Attorney Carissa Knapp were named joint acting county administrators. County Treasurer Terri Ross has been appointed budget officer. Acting county auditor duties have been appointed to Clerk of the Board Brenda Rigby Riehle, who will work in conjunction with Deputy Auditor Don Horan. McDonnell has been on a leave of absence since Oct. 2.
Day 3 of a manslaughter trial for Bradford resident 48 year old Larry Shroyer begins today.
The jury will hear more testimony from law enforcement, as well as testimony from a woman that the prosecution says is familiar with Shroyer’s drug habits.
A DNA analyst is also expected to take the stand.
Shroyer is accused of selling a lethal dose of heroin to a 25 year old man in 2015
