Ranger Helps Save Allergic Bee Sting Victim

A bee sting is more than a pain to people who are allergic to them.
This weekend, a forest ranger with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation had to help a hiker who suffered a severe reaction to a bee sting.
a Forest Ranger was flagged down a Saturday afternoon in Humphrey by a driver who said his girlfriend was having a severe allergic reaction.
She had difficulty breathing and had hives breaking out on her arm. The ranger called 911 and helped get the woman to the hospital for help.
