Ranger Helps Save Allergic Bee Sting Victim

A bee sting is more than a pain to people who are allergic to them.
This weekend, a forest ranger with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation had to help a hiker who suffered a severe reaction to a bee sting.
a Forest Ranger was flagged down a Saturday afternoon in Humphrey by a driver who said his girlfriend was having a severe allergic reaction.
She had difficulty breathing and had hives breaking out on her arm. The ranger called 911 and helped get the woman to the hospital for help.
Gus Macker is moving.
Next year the 3 on 3 basketball tournament will be held in June instead of August.
And that’s not all the changed that the olean chamber is making next year.
They’re also adding a new half-marathon and barbecue Sept. 5. Starting in Allegany, the race will end in Olean at a barbecue food festival.
