Farmersville Survey Shows More Opposition to Wind Farm Than Support

There are more people who opposed wind farms in Farmersville than support them, according to a new survey.
The results of the survey by the Farmersville Town Board showed 195 were opposed to the project, 139 were for it and 41 just weren’t sure.
Farmersville Supervisor Robert Karcher says the town board will review the survey results at its reorganization meeting tonight.
The project would include 23 600-foot wind turbines in the town.
