Olean Runway Review Requested

The runway at the Cattaraugus County Olean Airport in Ischua may need to be replaced.
And it’ll cost $50,000 to find out. The Common council agreed to pay that much to a consuting firm.
It’ll track the condition of the runway. They’ll do a rating of the pavement and assess if it needs to be replaced.
If the 4,800-foot runway needs to be replaced it’d cost $1 million over 5 years. The airport celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2019.
