National Fuel lifts rationing request

National Fuel’s lifted its request to turn the heat down five degrees.
A gas delivery issue at a facility in Pennsylvania isn’t a problem anymore.
National Fuel asked customers in Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties dial back the heat by five degrees becuase of the problem.
Spokesperson Karen Merkel said repair crews don’t know the exact cause, but a transmission facility in Potter County, Pennsylvania, which helps to push gas through an interstate pipeline went into shutdown early Monday morning.
There’s one less name on the list of possible Republican challengers to Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Former investment manager Harry Wilson announced his decision not to run on Facebook. He said he can’t commit because of time needed for his family and four daughters. He made an unsuccessful run for state comptroller in 2010. He did not rule out a future run for office and said he believes his background and leadership could have helped the state move forward.
