The help wanted signs are going up for Dairy processor HP Hood. They’re reportedly bringing hundreds of jobs to the area with a new plant to make what it calls extended shelf life beverages. They’ve bought the old Muller Quaker Dairy plant in Batavia. And they plan to invest over $200 million into it. Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Hood’s purchase. He says the new plant will bring 230 jobs to the area over the next five years.
