Two Teens Charged After Amber Alert

Two Cattaraugus County teenagers are charged following an Amber Alert was put out for the disappearance of a 12 year old girl. The child was reportedly abducted near Shady Lane in Lyndon around 5 a.m. The alert was canceled after about 16 hours.
Joshua Monette, who’s 18, and John Harvey, 16, were charged with fourth-degree grand larceny for allegedly stealing a car they were arrested with the stolen vehicle at an abandoned house. No one was injured. They were also charged with possession of a weapon.

Several blighted properties in Bradford are public nuisances. The Bradford City’s Board of Health made the ruling during a Tuesday night meeting. One former rental home on Barbour St. has a roof that has been deteriorating for several years and has foundation damage and the front porch roof is rotted. Another home on Roberts St., is run down too and there are no utilities.
